We’re incredibly proud of our commitment to volunteering, and it’s something our staff really value. Each year, our senior team members are given a paid volunteer day, allowing them to dedicate their time to a charity of our choice. It’s a wonderful way for us to connect with different organisations, make a real difference, and strengthen the sense of community within Goldex.

2024 Volunteering -DEMELZA

2024: Demelza
In 2024, we had the pleasure of volunteering at Demelza, a hospice that provides vital care and support to children and families facing life-limiting conditions. Our staff spent the day working in their beautiful garden, helping to maintain and enhance this peaceful space. We also helped Demelza’s team create festive areas for the children during the Christmas period, adding some extra cheer and warmth to their surroundings. It was truly special to see the joy our efforts brought to both the children and their families.

2023: Baby2Baby
In 2023, we had the privilege of visiting Baby2Baby, an incredible charity that provides essential items like clothing, nappies, and other baby necessities to families in need. Our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, helping to create packages of baby clothes for those who rely on Baby2Baby’s services. It was a rewarding and heartfelt experience, knowing that our efforts were directly supporting families facing difficult circumstances.
